How do you combine the roles of a mother, a community activist, and an artist? Do you ever feel that one of these roles “goes silent”?
It’s challenging but possible if you have inner balance and support from loved ones. Each of these roles is important to me and energizes the others. As a mother, I teach my children the importance of honesty, bravery, and openness in expressing their thoughts and emotions. As a community activist, I understand that my actions can impact society, motivating me to work even harder. In terms of art, I strive to create music that reflects what I love and feel. Of course, there are moments when one role dominates, but I always try to make time for rest and renewal.
What values do you aim to pass on to your children through your example and creativity?
I always strive to show my children that it’s not just about achieving success but also about remaining genuine, compassionate, and attentive to others. I believe creativity is a powerful tool for self-expression, so I encourage them to explore their talents while teaching them to respect the feelings and opinions of others. We often talk about the importance of honor, dignity, and empathy for those around us, and I try to embody these values in everything I do.

How does celebrating the winter holidays in your family help create a special atmosphere of unity and joy?
For us, celebrating winter holidays is always about family traditions, a time to set aside worries and simply enjoy being together. We prepare for the holidays in advance: decorating our home, cooking delicious meals, and, of course, exchanging gifts. These moments are incredibly important to me because they foster a sense of warmth, unity, and support. I believe holiday moments are like little islands of joy that bring us closer as a family.
Do family moments or stories inspire you to create new songs? How does your creativity influence your children?
Absolutely, family moments and shared experiences are among the most significant sources of inspiration for my creativity. Sometimes, emotions I’ve experienced find their way into my music. Songs often become a sort of “record” of emotions and moments that can resonate universally with many people. As for my children, they’re always curious about what I create, and that inspires me. Ultimately, children are our mirrors; they help us see the world in new ways, and that undoubtedly influences my art.
What is more important to you: teaching your children responsibility or giving them space for creative freedom?
That’s a very important question. I believe responsibility and freedom are two sides of the same coin. You can’t simply “let go” of a child without helping them understand the importance of being accountable for their actions. On the other hand, I recognize that self-expression requires space and support. So, I strive to give my children the freedom to choose what they want to do while teaching them discipline and responsibility for their decisions.

What is your greatest source of inspiration for creating music and balancing your multifaceted activities?
My greatest inspiration comes from my life experiences—moments of joy and pain, victories and setbacks. I believe every emotion and experience is material for creativity. Another significant source of inspiration is people—their stories and feelings. I try to listen, understand, and absorb what the world around me offers.
We know that you organized charitable projects for children before the New Year. Could you tell us more about them?
Before Christmas, my family, together with the team at the Social Center “Perspektyva-Obolon,” organized holiday events for the children of our defenders. We managed to host a series of interactive New Year activities and provide nearly a thousand gifts for children in our community. In these challenging times, when children need attention and protection the most, we want to bring them joy and create a festive atmosphere. I believe we succeeded.
Your recently released song is gaining popularity. What does it mean to you personally?
The song “Unbreakable” is about the power of love and support, about the resilience we find in one another, even in the toughest moments. It’s a tribute to women who, despite challenges, keep moving forward. This song underscores the importance of being there for one another when it feels like there’s no strength left. It inspires, offers hope, and reminds us that we truly are Unbreakable when we stand together.

How do you see the role of art and music in supporting and motivating society during difficult times?
Music and art possess immense power. They can inspire, comfort, and sometimes even “heal” the soul. In hard times, when it’s tough to find strength, a song, or a painting can become the thing that helps you get through. I believe art can unite people, giving them hope for a better future. During such times, it’s especially important to support one another through creativity.
