Do you want to dress like “Emily in Paris”? Good news: the show unveils its first fashion collaboration

Movies, music, literature – art in general is a fairly common source of inspiration for designers. For example, Dior’s new menswear line is the physical embodiment of creative director Kim Jones’ understanding and interpretation of Jack Kerouac’s On the Road.

However, sometimes the opposite story happens: the projects themselves enter into collaboration with some brand to create a collection “based on”. This is exactly what the creators of the series “Emily in Paris” did, teamed up with the Turkish brand My Beachy Side. Director Darren Star approached Gamze Ates, a friend and founder of the brand, with the idea, and she and her team realized it as a holiday chic collection – by the way, completely handmade. Recall that the action of the second season of the show will unfold on the Cote d’Azur, and tops, transforming dresses and flying trousers perfectly convey the resort mood.
