It was announced today that Prince Harry has been written out of the script for the coronation of King Charles III. In addition, insiders said that Prince William “burns with anger” because of the stunning revelations in the memoirs of the Duke of Sussex.
The Sunday Times today reported on a statement from a royal source that Harry has been left out of his father’s upcoming coronation in May: “Prince Harry has been left out of the coronation script, with no official role in the service, should he be present,” wrote the royal editor of the newspaper on Twitter. “Breaking tradition, Charles III will forego royal dukes kneeling and paying homage to the monarch. Only William will fill this role.”
Meanwhile, William’s friends told The Sunday Times that the heir was “burning with anger” but also “alarmed and saddened” by Harry’s comments, a behavior described by one friend as “cowardly”.
‘William’ won’t retaliate, he never would, because he’s dignified and incredibly loyal,” said one friend. “It’s cruel, cowardly and so sad for William to keep taking the hits. He keeps silent for the benefit of his family and country.” Another said: “He is anxious and sad – he is focused on his wife and his children. He handles it so well on the outside, inside he’s on fire. He’s not going to give up.”
