Lily-Rose Depp will join The Weeknd in the new HBO series “The Idol”. The plot of the show will unfold around the romance of the pop singer and the owner of the Los Angeles club, who is also the leader of a secret cult. While HBO has not revealed what roles Depp and The Weeknd will play, they may be the ones who will become the main characters of the series.
“The Idol” is co-produced by The Weeknd and Euphoria director Sam Levinson. Details about the project, as well as the release date, are not yet known.
