Benedict Cumberbatch may soon please us with a new role. According to Variety, the actor is in talks to star in a Netflix mini-series titled Eric.
If the parties agree, Benedict will play the role of the popular puppeteer Vincent Sullivan, whose life changes dramatically when his young son Edgar goes missing. As a result, the man loses himself and his home and gets hooked on illegal substances. He is brought back to life by a blue puppet named Eric, who goes on a journey with him to find the boy.
The release date of the project has not yet been disclosed.
