The September issues of Vogue Italia, Vogue China, Vogue México and other regional editions will come with different covers but similar content. Titled New Beginnings, this issue is the largest Vogue affiliate collaboration since 2019. Many of the same materials will appear in magazines in both print and digital formats. Vogue will also publish “generic” videos on their websites.
“This issue represents an evolution of our new collaborative approach to storytelling, in which editors around the world work together on stories with a global audience of Vogue in mind,” says Anna Wintour, Vogue’s global editorial director and chief content officer at Condé Nast.
Unlike GQ, who are going to put The Weeknd on the cover of 17 of the 21 September issues, Vogue’s covers will be different. Despite this, their details will still overlap – for example, in each image you can see the interpretation of dawn. Among the “common” Vogue materials inside the issues – the shooting, which was curated by editors from London and New York, a big feature about new designers, as well as the profile of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons.
