Two Sisters, One Dream: How Nina and Sofia Lishchuk Are Making Their Mark on the World of Kids’ Modeling

For Nina and Sofia Lishchuk, modeling has become an opportunity to explore new looks, meet interesting people, and turn every new project into a little adventure. Despite their young age, the sisters already understand that every beautiful image is the result of teamwork, discipline, and continuous growth. We spoke with them about their favorite moments on set, the support they receive from their family, and their biggest dreams for the future.

You are already familiar with the world of fashion. How did your modeling journey begin, and what captivated you most about the profession?

Nina:

I have always loved trying on beautiful looks and imagining different roles. In modeling, you can be a princess today, an athlete tomorrow, and a superstar the day after that. That is what I love most, because every shoot feels like a new adventure.

Sofia:

I have always loved expressing myself through movement, dancing, and transforming into different characters. When I took part in my first photo shoot, I realized that modeling is about beautiful clothes, emotions, personality, and the ability to tell a story without words. That is what fascinates me most.

Which moment from a photo shoot or runway show stands out most in your memory? What made it so special?

Nina:

My favorite moments happen backstage. Everyone is laughing and helping one another, and then they step onto the runway looking very serious. I think there is a little magic in that.

Sofia:

Once, I was very nervous before a show, but the moment I stepped onto the runway, the nerves disappeared. That was when I realized that the most important thing is to enjoy the experience. That moment made me much more confident.

Modeling involves posing beautifully as well as working as part of a team. What skills has this experience already taught you?

Nina:

I have learned not to be afraid of meeting new people, to connect with them quickly, to listen carefully, and to support others. I have also realized that a positive attitude is very important for the entire team.

Sofia:

I have learned to listen to the photographer, trust the team, and be disciplined and responsible. I have also realized that the best results come when everyone works together.

You are sisters and often work together. Does that help you feel more confident in front of the camera and on the runway? How do you support each other?

Nina:

Of course! If I feel nervous, all I have to do is look at Sofia, and I immediately feel calmer. We always celebrate each other’s success, even if one of us receives more attention that day. We are a team.

Sofia:

Yes, it helps a lot. When your sister is by your side, you always feel more at ease. We can encourage each other with a smile, share a joke, or simply say, “You’ve got this.” Sometimes, that is all you need.

How do you balance school, childhood interests, and a modeling career? What helps you maintain that balance?

Nina:

I try to enjoy everything I do. After school, I love going for walks, playing, and doing sports, and photo shoots bring me joy as well. I think the secret is making sure there is always time to just be a kid.

Sofia:

I like to plan my time. School comes first, followed by practice, dance, or photo shoots. But I always make time for friends, family, and rest. When everything is balanced, it all brings me joy.

If you could choose any international fashion brand or magazine for a future collaboration, which would you choose and why?

Nina:

I would love to work with Dolce & Gabbana or Vogue Kids. Their looks are always vibrant, beautiful, and full of joy. I think they capture the energy of childhood perfectly.

Sofia:

I would be excited to work with Dior or Vogue. I love their elegance, attention to detail, and the way they elevate fashion to true art.
