Turkish authorities have evacuated tourists from the beaches in the southwest of the country, where large-scale forest fires are raging, threatening hotels and homes of local residents.
To protect vacationers, boats of the Turkish coast guard are used, which were helped by private boats and yachts.
In the resort town of Bodrum, three five-star hotels have been evacuated. The mayor of Bodrum posted footage on Twitter showing the fire still burning on Sunday morning.
Local media also released dramatic footage showing people fleeing a dangerous area with their belongings as a fire quickly approaches the city from a forest-covered mountain.
The fires, which have continued since Wednesday, have claimed the lives of six people.
