It is reported that Twitter still filed a lawsuit against billionaire Elon Musk in order to obtain the acquisition of the social network, follows from documents submitted to the court of chancery in the US state of Delaware. “Twitter is initiating this lawsuit to bar Musk from further infringement, force Musk to comply with his legal obligations, and force the completion of the merger if several unmet conditions are met,” the document reads.
Elon Musk has already commented on Twitter’s actions. “Oh, irony,” Musk tweeted after filing the lawsuit. Company Chairman Bret Taylor added that the purpose of the lawsuit is to “hold Elon Musk accountable for his contractual obligations.”
Recall that at the end of last week, Musk said that he no longer plans to buy a social network. According to him, the company did not provide him with the information necessary to evaluate the business – data on spam bots and fake social media accounts.
