Jeff Bezos invests in life-extension technology

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has invested in startup Altos Labs, which develops life-extension technologies.

The said company has already raised $270 million. The owners promise to pay employees from $1 million per year.

It is known that this startup was formed in October last year after a conference on anti-aging biotechnology.

Among the scientists who have joined the development is the Japanese Shinya Yamanaka. In 2012, he received the Nobel Prize for his work on reprogramming cells.

In addition to him, the list of scientists includes the Spaniard Juan Carlos Belmonte, who is sure that the duration of human life can be increased by 50 years.
