It all could have started with a clinic in the center of Mariupol — the space was ready, plans were in place, and all that remained was to bring them to life. But a few months before the full-scale invasion, the Yermolayev family decided to postpone the opening. That decision to “wait” would later prove lifesaving: the building that was meant to become a medical center ended up in the epicenter of the fighting. The clinic was never opened — but the idea survived. And from that idea, step by step, Elite Dental emerged in Kyiv — a private dental clinic that today operates on par with the best global practices, without losing its human face.
“We didn’t relocate the clinic — we built it from scratch. Without equipment, without patients, without a clear understanding of how quickly it would pay off. But we had this feeling: either we do it, or we retreat. And retreating is something we don’t know how to do,” recalls Timofiy Yermolayev, co-founder of the clinic.
The beginning in Kyiv was modest. A rented space, one or two patients a week, uncertainty — but also deep inner determination. The whole family worked as a team: his brother helped with procurement, his mother handled communications, and his father provided advice on complex clinical cases. Everything that had previously seemed theoretical became real in these new conditions.

Before relocating, Timofiy had worked in Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro — including at a clinic ranked among the top 200 in the world. That experience proved invaluable, offering a clear understanding of how a proper system should operate. He moved to Kyiv in 2022, on his 30th birthday, and immediately began building the clinic together with his brother.
“We’re used to thinking of dentistry as a room where teeth are treated. But for us, it became something else entirely: a point of strength, where a person must feel that nothing threatens them,” Yermolayev explains.
This philosophy gave rise to a unique approach: appointments without the clock. Patients can be seen even at night. A car can be sent to pick them up and return them home. It’s not about the wow factor — it’s about ensuring each person knows their pain isn’t just another entry on a schedule.
The clinic gradually filled out with details. High-precision scanners and microscopes allow procedures to be performed with millimeter accuracy. Intraoral scanners enable digital smile modeling, while a state-of-the-art dental chair with a massage function helps reduce stress during long procedures. But as Yermolayev points out, it’s not the equipment that creates quality — it’s attentiveness. If a doctor is inattentive, no amount of technology can compensate.
“You can learn anything — except honesty with a patient. If you’re not ready to take responsibility for the result, don’t take the case,” he says.

For Timofiy, quality isn’t just about aesthetics. It includes functionality, durability, and honesty in every decision. The clinic does not accept compromises, even in difficult situations. “I can’t allow a situation where work is done halfway or with compromises. We don’t agree to temporary or partial solutions if they might harm the patient in the future,” he emphasizes.
The clinic follows a standard that allows it to offer guarantees for results. This approach enables Elite Dental to take full responsibility: if something goes wrong, the patient knows they won’t be left alone with the problem.
Elite Dental also rejects the idea that speed is a virtue if it comes at the cost of precision. They do not skimp on materials, do not rush procedures, and do not distinguish between paid and charitable care. Internally displaced people, children from orphanages, patients in acute pain who can’t afford treatment — for Elite Dental, this isn’t a separate initiative, but a daily reality.
“Help isn’t a format. It’s simply the ability not to look away. If you can — you do. No cameras, no reports, no posts,” Yermolayev says.
Although most patients come by word of mouth, this is what gives the clinic its stability. The founders consciously avoid aggressive marketing. “I spent more than 12–13 thousand dollars on promotion, but those investments didn’t deliver the expected results. I’d have been better off spending that money on new equipment or something useful for the clinic,” Timofiy shares.

Elite Dental is a family enterprise, developed in unison.
“My father has enormous experience that he passes on to me, and I can always turn to him for advice — especially in complicated cases. That gives me confidence in my work and gives patients added peace of mind,” Yermolayev explains.
The clinic is now preparing to expand. A new branch is planned, which will be headed by Timofiy’s brother Dmytro.
“The next step is growth, and he’ll be managing the new unit, while I support him as he supported me,” Timofiy says.
Elite Dental isn’t a story about a medical dream. It’s a story about the ability to maintain standards, even when the world around you is full of uncertainty. And about people who create a space where the most advanced technology is trust — and where everyone who arrives in pain knows they’ll be treated not just as a patient, but as someone who truly matters.
