After earning two higher education degrees unrelated to the beauty industry, I realized I wanted a career that allowed me to earn a living anywhere in the world, be independent, and create my own schedule. That’s when I decided to enter the beauty and wellness sector. As I began working, seeing the joyful and grateful faces of my clients made me realize I was in the right place. I could enhance their natural beauty and make their journey toward their goals easier—whether by relieving pain through massage or reshaping their bodies with wraps.

You’ve studied techniques from various countries, including Ukraine and the UK. How do you incorporate this knowledge into your work in Los Angeles?

It’s a fantastic blend of invaluable experiences. The foundation I received in Ukraine was further refined in the UK and Los Angeles. Today, I apply all these skills to establish myself from scratch and secure a significant position in the beauty and wellness industry in LA. In the future, I plan to expand my business to other states.

When I first arrived in the U.S., navigating the laws and regulations was challenging, as they differ greatly from those in Ukraine and the UK. Fortunately, throughout my career, I had accumulated numerous certifications and diplomas. I reached out to a state organization, and based on my credentials, I was granted a license. But I didn’t stop there—I enrolled in massage courses to master the American standards and techniques.

How do you approach each client? Do you develop individualized programs, and what factors do you consider when choosing treatments?

I take an individualized approach with every client, tailoring treatments to their specific needs and goals. During the initial consultation, I ask a series of questions about their health and preferences. From there, I create a customized treatment plan designed to achieve the best results while balancing effectiveness and comfort. As we progress, I adjust the program to focus on procedures that yield the most noticeable improvements.

Do you have a personal self-care “ritual”?

Once I started practicing massage, I realized that our energy and mental health are the foundations of our physical appearance. My personal rituals include meditating by the ocean or going on hikes. I’ve also developed my own body care routine involving wraps and self-massage. I use natural and professional-grade ingredients to maintain a youthful and healthy look. When I first became interested in wraps, I tested them on myself and lost 16 kilograms using my own method.
