King Charles III celebrates first birthday as monarch

On November 14, King Charles III of Great Britain celebrated his 74th birthday!

On this occasion, at 11 am in London, during the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, the cavalry band sang the song Happy Birthday. At noon, the Royal Horse Artillery regiment fired 41 gun salutes in London’s Green Park. The band of the Scots Guards then played Happy Birthday again in the park. An hour later the gun salute began. The honorary artillery company fired 62 volleys from the cannons of the Tower in honor of the king’s birthday.

As the BBC channel notes, no official events are planned for this day, Charles III will spend the holiday with his family.
