Finland may soon lift all COVID restrictions

The Finnish government may end the last quarantine restrictions by early October.

According to Prime Minister Sanna Marin, the main goal of the authorities is to “liberate” its citizens from COVID restrictions, and the expansion of the vaccination company is the main key to this.

Finland is expected to achieve this goal by early October. The country plans to vaccinate 80% of the population over 12 years old against coronavirus.

It is noted that the level of the disease in Finland is quite low compared to other EU countries, but in recent months there has been an increase in COVID cases among unvaccinated people and young people.
