Hamilton watch house introduced a new model of the iconic watch Hamilton Ventura, which became the first electronic watch in 1957. The Hamilton Ventura XXL Bright features a 47.6 mm stainless steel case with a sleek black PVD finish, which houses a special quartz movement that illuminates the dial in red when pressed at the 9 o’clock position. The black Super-LumiNova hour and minute hands are paired with an instrument-like pulse line pattern on the dial and tone-on-tone hour markers, all a nod to the 1950s model. Designer Richard Arbib worked on the design of the updated model – he created the design of cars and concept cars of the 50s.
