Rihanna presented the first Fenty Parfum fragrance as part of her Fenty Beauty brand. The singer worked on it together with the perfumer of the LVMH conglomerate Jacques Cavalier Belltrude. The perfume is based on notes of magnolia, musk, mandarin, blueberry, Bulgarian rose, geranium and patchouli. The singer was inspired to such a combination of aromas by her native island of Barbados. The launch of Fenty Parfum is not Rihanna’s first experience in perfumery, she has previously released several successful fragrances under a licensing agreement with Parlux Fragrances Inc. in the early 2010s.
