The brand’s founder, Olena Akimova, shares how a youthful dream turned into her most personal project, why courage sometimes means starting from scratch, and how she envisions the future of Nobelle.

Elena, Nobelle sounds like something very personal. How did its story begin — with a dream, intuition, or a specific challenge?

In fact, the brand was born both from a dream and from a challenge. My dream was to create a space where I could share my vision of femininity, softness, and beauty. I wanted clothing not just to adorn but to fill a woman from within, to give her lightness and a sense of harmony. I believe that any look can carry a touch of tenderness and mystery. 

But there was also a challenge. We live in a world of overproduction, where it is easy to get lost in endless choice. I wanted to create a piece that would be both universal and beloved — something you can’t imagine your wardrobe without. This was my way of responding to the challenges of our time.

You call Nobelle a brand with a philosophy. What lies at its core: beauty, a woman’s inner state, freedom? How would you describe this essence in one image or metaphor?

For me, Nobelle is much more than clothing. It is a philosophy based on beauty, inner harmony, and the freedom to be yourself. If I were to put it into a metaphor, I would say: Nobelle is an invisible crown. It is not about outward shine, but about inner dignity and elegance that are always with you.

I like to compare the brand to elegant embraces: it gently envelops you, yet at the same time gives confidence and strength. Nobelle reminds a woman that her true beauty is born within, and clothing only helps reveal it.

How much is Nobelle about you personally? Can we say that the brand is a continuation of your own transformation?

Yes, Nobelle is a very personal project for me. Like every woman, I went through stages of searching — for style, self-expression, my place in the world. And at some point, a seed of beauty and light matured inside me, something I wanted to share.

I believe that a woman can remain tender and at the same time strong, combining seriousness with softness. Nobelle is a reflection of this idea, a continuation of my transformation, and an invitation for other women to discover their own inner harmony.

Your titles and projects are the result of tremendous work on yourself. What turned out to be the most difficult part on the path to creating Nobelle, and what did this experience teach you?

The hardest thing was daring to take the step. I already had achievements, projects, recognition, and it seemed like that was enough. But inside, there lived a thought about something deeper — about a brand that would reflect my values.

Overcoming doubts and taking responsibility for a new stage was not easy. But this experience taught me that true courage is not only about stepping onto a stage or conquering heights, but also about allowing yourself to open up to the world again — in a different, new role.

You are a mentor, a coach, and a life designer. In what way do you want to support women through the brand? Is it about outer beauty or a deeper inner state?

For me, four “B’s” are important: beauty inside, beauty on you, beauty around you, and beauty in this world. Nobelle brings all of this together.

When a woman wears our pieces, she transforms not only on the outside — she reveals her true self. It is about the inner state that shows in her walk, in her gaze, in her energy. Nobelle helps her feel the balance, tenderness, and strength that have always been within her.

Nobelle is still a very young brand. But every idea carries a dream about the future. How do you see it in five years?

Honestly, I dream that our pieces can be found in different countries. Not in big chains, but in small, special boutiques where people come for something unique.

I also want Nobelle to be about emotions. I have an idea to create a gifting line — so that men can choose our items for women as a sign of care and attention. Because for me, it has never been only about clothing, but about the feeling it gives.

And if you had the chance to say in one sentence why you do all this — what would your answer be?

Very simple. I do it because only through creation and contribution to the world do I feel that I am truly alive.
