Brazilian Ketlen Vieira defeated American Misha Tate in the main event at UFC Fight Night 198 in Las Vegas.
The bantamweight bout (up to 61.2 kg) ended in victory for the Brazilian by unanimous decision of the judges – 48–47, 48–47, 49–46.
Former UFC champion Tate, 35, suffered her eighth career loss with 19 wins. The 30-year-old Vieira has 12 victories and two defeats.
The UFC bantamweight champion since summer 2016 is Brazilian Amanda Nunez.
In the main bout of the tournament in the welterweight division, 28-year-old American Sean Brady defeated 33-year-old compatriot Michael Chiesu by decision. For him, this victory was the 13th in his career, while he did not suffer a single defeat. For Chiesa, this is the sixth defeat with 22 wins.
