Ukrainian singer SoloKha, who recently welcomed her third child, has introduced her newborn son, Akim, to the public for the first time.

The artist revealed that she had deliberately kept her baby out of the spotlight, choosing to share his first photos only after his baptism — a decision rooted in personal belief and spiritual tradition.
“I intentionally kept this private,” SoloKha said. “I believe a child should only be shown after the christening. Once that moment had passed, I felt it was right to share him with the world.”
She also spoke about her thoughtful approach to selecting Akim’s godparents, explaining that she chose people outside the entertainment industry. According to the singer, the role carries profound responsibility that goes far beyond social status or celebrity.

“My colleagues are constantly touring and forever busy,” she noted. “Godparents must truly understand the significance of their role. They are the ones who first introduce a child to Christianity and to God. That is deeply important to me.”
The first official photographs of baby Akim were taken by renowned celebrity photographer Viktoriia Surzhko, who has previously worked with SoloKha on family portraits and was also responsible for the first photo session of her daughter Yevlaliia two years ago. Surzhko has collaborated with numerous Ukrainian artists, including Vitaliy Kozlovskyi and Svitlana Tarabarova.

For SoloKha, this intimate moment marks not only a joyful family milestone, but a reaffirmation of her commitment to faith, privacy, and the deeply personal values she chooses to uphold beyond the stage.
