American designer and fashion designer Virgil Abloh died at the age of 41.
As reported in the official instagram of the designer, in 2019 he was diagnosed with angiosarcoma of the heart. Abloh fought cancer without advertising his diagnosis.
Despite his illness, his work ethic, boundless curiosity and optimism have not faltered. Virgil was driven by dedication and mission – to open doors to others and create paths to greater equality in art and design. He often said, “Everything I do, I do for the 17-year-old version of myself,” deeply believing in the power of art to inspire future generations.
