Streaming service Discovery+ will release a documentary about the trial between American actor Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard.
Johnny vs. Amber: An American Trial will hit the platform on September 19th. It will feature interviews with Depp’s attorneys, legal experts and journalists.
The first episode will focus on Depp’s take on his relationship with Heard. The series will focus on the actor’s “abusive childhood and drug addiction”, as well as how he allegedly became a victim of domestic violence from his ex-wife.
The second episode will describe events from Heard’s point of view, including all episodes of the alleged sexual assault and attacks by Depp’s lawyers on social media.
“The series gives a forensic account of key evidence and turning points in the case from both sides, allowing viewers to decide for themselves who to believe,” the show’s synopsis states.
