Donald Trump has announced that he will run in the 2024 US presidential election. His representatives passed Trump’s application to the Federal Election Commission shortly before he made his statement at the Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, CNN reports.
“To make America great and glorious again, I am announcing my candidacy for President of the United States,” Trump said. He promised to launch a campaign that would “bring people together.” “This will not be my campaign, this will be a campaign of all of us together,” Trump said.
Recall that Trump was President of the United States from 2017 to 2020. In January 2020, he lost the election to incumbent President Joe Biden.
