On April 24, a charity concert took place at the Boho Safari restaurant to support children living just 15 km from the frontline in the Zaporizhzhia region, who are unable to evacuate to safer areas.
The event was organized by Ilona Gvozdeva — Ukrainian dancer, founder of the women’s movement Ukrainian Women Unity (UWU), and Olena Yushchenko — founder of charitable events and the Mamyno Sertse Foundation.
Joining forces, they created an evening where music, art, and goodwill worked together for the future of children.
The event was supported by numerous Ukrainian artists:
Olena Grebenyuk, Masha DANILOVA, Swoiia, ALEKSEEV, Anna-Maria duo, Muayad, SOFO, Yulia Roznen, FAYA, KONDURAKIY, ULIANA ROYCE, DJ STARKOV.
The host Ivan Uniku, together with Ilona Gvozdeva, led a charity auction, during which more than 185,000 UAH were raised.
Auction lots included: • A pendant shaped like a deer from the SKIFIA by ZARINA collection — a symbolic piece of jewelry;
• A hand-painted tube from Ukrainian soldiers;
• A stamp signed by fencing champion Olga Kharlan;
• A painting created by children together with artist Sonia Morozjuk;
• The painting “Kyiv Madonna” by artist Bohdana Barysheva.
Additionally, sets of tourniquets from SICH Ukraine — a leading Ukrainian manufacturer of SICH-Tourniquet life-saving devices — were donated to military personnel.
All raised funds will be directed to helping children who remain in frontline zones.
