After a poll on Twitter, Musk sells part of Tesla shares

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has sold about $5 billion worth of shares.

Bloomberg writes that it is not known whether Musk’s Twitter poll influenced the decision to conduct the transactions as to whether he should sell 10% of his Tesla shares – and whether he will continue selling until he reaches the 10% threshold. To achieve this, he would have to get rid of approximately 17 million shares.

It is noted that this is the first sale of shares by Musk since 2016.
