Ukraine has chosen its musical symbol for the year ahead. LELÉKA emerged as the winner of the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, delivering a performance that united the jury’s professional acclaim with overwhelming public support.

The final, held on February 7, confirmed her victory with a decisive result: a perfect 20 points, split evenly between the jury and viewers. Along with the national trophy, LELÉKA earned the official right to represent Ukraine on Europe’s biggest music stage in Vienna.

The evening was hosted by Ukraine’s long-standing Eurovision commentator Timur Miroshnychenko alongside television presenter Lesia Nikitiuk, who guided the audience through a night of high emotion and anticipation.

The emotional peak of the final came with a special performance by Jamala — the 2016 Eurovision winner and music producer of the 2026 national selection. Her iconic song “1944,” performed with the Ukrainian Radio Symphony Orchestra, transformed the stage into a powerful space of memory, resilience, and national dignity.
