Iryna Adonina, a fashion influencer, civic activist, and founder of the United for Freedom charitable foundation, talks about style, family, and responsibility. Her story brings together the Italian aesthetic of Dolce & Gabbana and a Ukrainian understanding that values are expressed through actions.
For Iryna, the philosophy of dolce vita means noticing beauty in everyday life, cherishing loved ones, and finding her own rhythm even in uncertain times.

For Iryna, style is a way to speak about herself without words. She is drawn to the Dolce & Gabbana aesthetic, with its combination of character, emotion, and attention to detail. The brand’s recognizable visual language draws on Italian culture, craftsmanship, and respect for heritage.
At the same time, true style cannot be reduced to the name on a label. It emerges through choice, confidence, and the ability to remain yourself. In the coordinated looks worn by Iryna and her family, fashion takes on personal meaning: it expresses their closeness and preserves special moments.
At the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Iryna was abroad with her children. Her desire to support fellow Ukrainians led her to create a community that eventually grew into the United for Freedom charitable foundation.
“At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, I was in Budapest with my children, and it was important to me to bring Ukrainians together and create a community where we could support one another, share experiences and information, and help those facing difficult circumstances,” Iryna says.
Later, Iryna began organizing cultural and fashion events in Ukraine and abroad. They offered a way to represent Ukrainian culture, bring people together, and raise funds for charitable causes. Today, her priorities include supporting emerging Ukrainian designers and helping Ukrainian fashion gain international recognition.
For Iryna, an active civic role means responsibility, consistency, and a willingness to act. It is how personal convictions become help for others.

Alongside her work and philanthropy, Iryna makes time for loved ones. To her, balance means consciously choosing where to devote her attention.
The family fashion shoot became an extension of that idea. In their coordinated Dolce & Gabbana looks, each person’s individuality sits alongside a sense of unity. The looks also draw on an Italian tradition in which family holds a central place. For Iryna, time together is a reminder of what she is working and moving forward for.
With experience, Iryna has reconsidered what leadership means. Today, she sees it as the ability to listen to others, trust a team, share responsibility, and create the conditions for collective growth.
This approach carries into everyday life: her decisions, her relationships with loved ones, and her willingness to take responsibility for her words and actions. Iryna seeks to bring work, motherhood, and philanthropy together in a life shaped by her own priorities. Sometimes leadership means supporting someone else’s initiative or helping another person realize their potential.

In fashion, luxury means quality and pieces that reflect the person wearing them. In everyday life, it means being with loved ones, preserving traditions, and making time for what matters.
In the Ukrainian context, dolce vita takes on particular meaning: maintaining an inner sense of stability, supporting others, acting according to one’s values, and retaining a taste for life. Iryna Adonina’s story brings together Italian aesthetics and Ukrainian identity, professional ambition and family closeness, personal style and civic responsibility.
