Billionaire Jeff Bezos has made a $2 billion offer to NASA to allow his companies to participate in the construction of a module for landing humans on the moon.
This mission is scheduled for 2024.
In October, NASA awarded a $2.9 billion contract for the project to SpaceX company Ilona Maska. While Blue Origin Bezos was denied.
Earlier, NASA was expected to sign a contract with both companies, but due to lack of funding, such a step was refused.
Bezos wrote that his company is ready to refuse to receive payments from NASA this year and over the next two years for a total of $ 2 billion.
In exchange, he asks to take Blue Origin into the project.
