The ONE LUXY brand was born out of a love for detail and the belief that luxury is, above all, a state of being. It’s made for women who don’t strive to impress but always do. Those who choose beauty, comfort, and strength in every movement. Founder Alina Polishchuk creates pieces that exist in harmony with the body and mood — garments that don’t just adorn but speak of inner freedom.

When working on a new model, which single aspect of fit do you consider the most important — and why?
I always pay special attention to the silhouette combined with comfort. The key parameter is the balance between how the suit looks on a person and how she feels in it. Fashion should inspire, not restrict, so I create designs where the fit enhances both confidence and freedom of movement.
Let’s take your latest collection. Tell us about one piece that went through an unexpected challenge — and how you solved it.
In our latest collection, Luxy Set Sport, we faced an unexpected challenge with the fabric. We had chosen a unique marble-effect corduroy that looked perfect in the initial samples, but during the fitting tests, we discovered that its structure behaved differently under various lighting conditions and tension. We immediately gathered the team, tested several finishing options, and refined the fit to emphasize the silhouette while preserving the fabric’s distinctive marble sheen. It was a challenge, but the result was worth it — the suit turned out warm, elegant, and alive on the body.

How do you determine that a material is suitable? What three criteria must it meet before being approved for release?
At ONE LUXY, we always approach fabric selection with exceptional care. The material must meet three key criteria:
These three elements ensure that every ONE LUXY piece is not only stylish but also truly practical for everyday life.
Has there ever been feedback from clients or sales that changed your approach?
I’m often surprised by how clients react. Sometimes a piece I’ve invested the most attention in doesn’t become as popular as I expected, while simpler designs turn out to be a huge success. Our clients have an incredible sense of style — they know how to combine pieces in their own unique way. As one client once said, “Your clothes are never simple — each one has its own character.”
That reminded me that it’s pointless to predict bestsellers. They emerge naturally — when people fall in love with a piece. And those moments inspire me to take even bolder creative risks and design collections with more courage and freedom.

Finally: three rules and one taboo of ONE LUXY style.
Taboo: Never compromise on quality. Even the smallest imperfection can ruin the entire concept of luxury.
