One of the most influential guitarists in the world, Jeff Beck, has died. He was 78 years old. The cause of death was bacterial meningitis. The incident was reported by representatives of the artist on Twitter.
“On behalf of his family, it is with deep sadness that we announce the news of the death of Jeff Beck. He died peacefully yesterday (January 10 – Approx. Ed.) After a sudden infection with bacterial meningitis, ”the official statement says.
