In October last year, a tragedy occurred on the set of Rust. Alec Baldwin accidentally shot cameraman Galina Hutchins. Later it turned out that the gun from which the shot occurred was not loaded with blanks, but with live ammunition.
An investigation into the operator’s death is still ongoing. And despite the fact that the murder was accidental, the Hutchins family sued Alec Baldwin and the entire Rust crew.
