Через кризу британський веганський ресторан вирішив подавати м’ясо

У Тонтоні, столиці графства Сомерсет, найпопулярніший веганський ресторан Mango Tree через кризу вирішив додати в меню м’ясні страви. Поки заклад закрито на ремонт, незабаром він повернеться до нового формату. Клієнти ресторану незадоволені рішенням власників, а ті звинувачують у всьому економічну кризу.

У Mango Tree заявили, що втратили клієнтів через падіння рівня життя — ресторан майже ніхто не приходить, залишилися замовлення на доставці.

«Продаж м’яса гірший за закриття», — розкритикували рішення ресторану в соцмережах. «Веганство – це не комерційне підприємство. Це етична філософія, яка робить все можливе для тварин, планети та охорони здоров’я», – додав інший коментатор.

На це власники ресторану відповіли, що етика включає і повагу до співробітників: «Зміни допоможуть нам зберегти роботу для нашої чудової команди і дозволять нам продовжувати подавати в Тонтоні смачні страви на рослинній основі, які інакше зникли б».
