AfterShock Comics will publish a comic book about a transgender superhero

According to The New York Times, AfterShock Comics has unveiled a new transgender superhero named Chalice, who has the ability to control gravity and fly. Chalis lives in a universe called Alter, inhabited by humans and mutants with unusual abilities called alterations. In ordinary life, the superheroine is a student named Charlie Young, who, secretly from his family, is preparing for a transgender transition, and at night transforms into a woman and fights evil.
