You created Ivanka & CO not simply as an event brand, but as a force shaping modern business culture. Where did this philosophy begin, and what became your inner driving force?

My story is, first and foremost, a story of unity and connection. I am originally from Ukraine. My professional journey began as a teacher of English and German at a medical college. It was there that I first brought together students from different countries — and that’s when my English Fan Club was born, a project that introduced me to extraordinary people from the UK.

Those relationships opened the door to London. I returned again and again — often with my students — and over time, I realized that London had become my new home.

In the UK, I worked as a personal assistant, in schools — but my inner voice kept whispering, ‘You are meant to do something bigger.’ And it was right. I began tutoring, organizing private events and family celebrations for VIP clients. Step by step, a powerful network formed across beauty, fashion, confectionery, and bespoke services.

People kept telling me, ‘Ivanka, why haven’t you created your own brand yet? It comes so naturally to you.’ And I felt it too — uniting people was never work for me, it was pure joy. Even through physical exhaustion, the fulfillment was always far greater.

Then the war began. To say it changed my life would be an understatement. I still cry when I think about that time. But it was then that I gathered everyone I knew and created a charity networking event called In Support of Ukraine. Representatives from dozens of countries joined — from the Philippines and Brazil to Lithuania, Poland, and many regions of Africa. Everyone worked on a volunteer basis. We raised funds for Ukraine, and that evening became a turning point in my life.

After the event, people kept approaching me and saying, ‘Ivanka, this is your calling. When is the next one? What’s next?’

And then my inner voice spoke clearly: ‘Now is your time.’ It was so powerful that I couldn’t betray it — nor the people who believed in me. That’s how Ivanka & CO was born one year ago.

Over the past year, Ivanka & CO has received numerous awards and produced several high-profile events. Which project do you consider the true turning point in shaping your international reputation?

To be completely honest — I cannot name just one. Every project played a crucial role in the collective process of establishing Ivanka & CO globally. The key word here is consistency.

Whether it was my role as a GEF ambassador, working at the World Summit, participating in international partner projects, or hosting my own Ivanka & CO events — even attending as a guest — every moment helped build our global brand.

I remember one Instagram Live during GEF. I was joined by Dr. Suma, a female investor from the Netherlands, and an actor from the US. She said something that stayed with me forever:

‘Success is built on three golden Cs: Consistency, Communication, and Connection.’

In that moment, I thought — this is exactly who I am. These became our Golden Rules at Ivanka & CO:

Consistency — because I never stop, and people see that.
Communication — because I stay open with everyone I work with.
Connection — because human connections are my greatest passion.

These three principles shaped our international reputation.

As for awards — of course, it’s wonderful. But titles matter less to me than whether I remain honest with myself. When I reviewed the past year, I thought: ‘No, I want more. I still have so much to build.’ And I know — everything comes in its time.
