Several countries in Europe are affected by massive forest fires. The fire engulfed the western part of Greece, rescuers are evacuating people.
Pines and olive trees broke out in western Greece. There were already 16 people in hospitals because of the fires. At the same time, about 20 houses were destroyed, and rescuers evacuated residents of five villages and tourists from several beaches.
Due to a strong fire, the highway to Athens was blocked. Fighting fire is hampered by 40-degree heat and strong winds.
