US tests the PrSM rocket for the fifth time – the longest flight is recorded

Lockheed Martin has conducted the fifth test of its Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) at the US Vandenberg Space Force in California. This was reported by Defense Express. The missile was launched from the launcher of the highly mobile artillery system HIMARS and flew over the Pacific Ocean.
It is claimed that this was the longest flight to date, exceeding the maximum threshold and turning the missile into early combat readiness in 2023.

Exactly how far the rocket flew is not reported. As Defense Express previously reported, during tests in May this year, the PrSM missile covered a distance of about 400 km – this mark was a record for it.

The range of this complex is planned to be doubled: up to 1000 km instead of the planned 500 km.
