Beautiful and ambitious businesswoman Inna Plakhotniuk is a mother of two, a finalist of the Mrs. Ukraine International 2019 beauty contest, founder and head of the English kindergarten Lucky Kids Sadok, as well as the founder of the A6 Lucky Dance Academy of Modern Dance and the AD Kids Boutique children’s fashion boutique. Today, we will discuss her new projects and why supporting children’s talents and providing a quality sports and educational platform is so important for future generations. Inna also shares her secrets of success.
Inna, where did the idea for the A6 Lucky Dance Academy of Modern Dance come from?
The idea for the Dance Academy was born in 2019 during my participation in the Mrs. Ukraine International 2019 beauty contest. Today, our Academy is almost five years old. Inspired by the incredible drive and emotions on stage during the contest, I felt motivated to develop a new creative project. As a mother of two charming children, I decided that creating a children’s social business could be beneficial in nurturing the future talents of our children. One of these projects is the A6 Lucky Dance Academy of Modern Dance.
What are the features of your A6 Lucky Dance Academy?
I want to emphasize that we are a branch of the well-known A6 dance school, which is rightly considered one of the best in Kyiv. The key to the success of the A6 dance school is its extensive experience in teaching dance, with over 20 years in the market, and hundreds of students who have become champions and laureates of choreography, folk, ballroom, and modern dance competitions in Ukraine.
What dance styles does your Academy offer? Can your studio train children of different age groups?
Our Academy’s main direction is modern choreography for children aged 3 to 13. For older children, there is a Hip-Hop direction for ages 10 to 16. Additionally, there are supplementary directions in acrobatics and modern gymnastics for children aged 4 to 8. Children of any age in our Academy can find a dance style that suits their heart.
How is the A6 Lucky Dance Academy developing in wartime conditions? What challenges are you facing?
This year, we rebranded the dance studio and reached a new professional level, becoming the A6 Lucky Dance Academy of Modern Dance. Our children have shown the best results over the past three years, taking first place in competitions, dance festivals, and A6 report concerts in Ukraine. In wartime conditions, we face various challenges daily; I would say we are surviving: lack of electricity, daily shelling, etc. But we manage successfully and strive to inspire children and help them discover their talents through the energy of dance. Safety during classes is also crucial, as our dance Academy is located in a proper bomb shelter that meets all standards, which is one of the important factors for the safety of children in today’s educational service sphere.
Inna, what inspires you to move forward? What motivates you?
Running three children’s businesses simultaneously: the A6 Lucky Dance Academy of Modern Dance, the English Kindergarten, and the Kid’s Fashion boutique, I realize that over the past few years, I have had a great desire to contribute to the upbringing of children and teenagers, their cultural development, as well as the fashion industry. To create an educational platform, thereby giving children a start for the best future, especially in today’s wartime, when we value every minute of our lives.
